Current dataset of the Knowledge Graph for German tourism
The map of Germany reflects the current data set of the Knowledge Graph for the domains of attractions, events, tours, lodging facilities, and restaurants. As the project progresses, additional datasets from various domains will be integrated. Currently, more than 500,000 up-to-date data records are available. These include approximately 200,000 tourism-related objects (POIs, tours, events, restaurants, hotels, etc.) as well as an additional 310,000 infrastructure data records.
Alternatively, you can use the Search widget to search for specific records.
The map of Germany shows the geographic distribution of the data records. This makes it easy to quickly see which data records are currently available in the desired region and how many there are. Using the “Address/Location” input field, you can navigate to the desired location without having to scroll through the map. By clicking on one or more categories, you can filter the results accordingly. As soon as you click on a dataset icon, a window opens with a brief description. Clicking the blue “Table” button displays the complete dataset in tabular form on a new page. This shows what information the data record contains according to schema.org. In addition, public transit stops—including departure times—are displayed for all data records, provided they are within a 2-kilometer radius.
Note:
The map shows you which data sets (provided they include geographic coordinates) are currently available in Germany. The filters displayed allow you to narrow your search to the specific domain specifications in the database. Currently, both the previous standard and the extended ODTA standard are in use simultaneously. The operators of the Knowledge Graph are in the process of converting all data records to the ODTA standard.
The widget presented here does not represent a search for the end user. The data user decides how to integrate the data into his application and display it for his target group.
